About Us
Cambridge Vineyard Church (UK) is part of a world wide movement of over 500 churches and is affiliated to Vineyard Churches UK.
History
Cambridge Vineyard Church was planted in 1998 by Tim and Pippa Peppiatt, and started as a single house group in the north of the city. In the summer of 2000 Andy and Ruth Chamberlain took over from Tim and Pippa as Senior Pastors.
In 2001 the church community started to meet regularly on Sundays with weekly meetings starting in 2003. Since 2003 we have been meeting on Sunday mornings as well as in small groups during the week. Kidswork for children under 11 has been provided during the morning service. We have also been running a youth group for 11 - 14s, and regular Alpha courses.
In 2007, Andy and Ruth stepped down from leadership, and Alison and Peter Bird moved from Birmingham to lead the church as Pastors.
